"A great find"

We stayed in the Monk tower, you climb a spiral staircase to such a unique little room, has its own castle roof terrace with views of the bay and incredible sunsets. Fun place to stay.

"Quirky, fun and fabulous

The place was quirky and full of amazing vintage pieces. Spotlessly clean, mindful of environment too. Amazing views from the turret and bedroom windows gave great sea views. The bathroom had a full sized bath and excellent shower decorated in Art Deco style. The addition of a record player and LP’s was a great bonus. Breakfast offered a good choice and featured vegetarian and vegan options. Tea making facilities were replenished daily. The hosts were fun and welcoming offering suggestions for trips and local knowledge. Highly recommended."

"A glorious stay in the best b&b in Barmouth!

Extraordinary place - fun and funky, quaint and quirky, charming hosts, scrumptious breakfasts and the most comfortable bed in the country! Fabulous views from our own private terrace added to our delight at this fantastic bed and breakfast (though it was a little blustery up on the roof in February!)"

"What an enchanting and comfortable B&B.

It was so cool and funky. The hosts are absolutely delightful and an incredibly interesting couple. Our room, Llyn View, was big and bright. The bed was extremely comfortable with wonderful bedding. The modern bath had a big shower with heated towels. The breakfast and the choices were fabulous. I miss the delicious Welsh bread toast. We have stayed in many hotels and B&B’s in the UK and in the states, but this lovely, enchanting place tops them all. Thank you Henri and Pav!"

"Brilliant weekend break in Barmouth.

Good weather despite November and a storm - we got lucky. The breakfast was, indeed, exceptional, particularly the sausages from a local butchers and the mushrooms cooked in butter! Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and the property itself was wonderfully idiosyncratic. I particularly enjoyed having a play on the Hammond organ!!!"

"Beautiful unique B&B with fantastic views and great hosts.

Twr Mynach is like no other B&B you will stay at. We stayed in the Monk Tower set on 3 floors. Large bathroom and dressing room on the first floor going up winding stairs to the second floor bedroom (which had tea and coffee making facilities) then up to the terrace. The views from the terrace were awesome a 360 degree view of Barmouth and a beautiful sunset. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, our hosts Henri and Pav were fantastic nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious."

"Delightfully different, in a quirky way, with wonderful views, and kind, caring hosts.

Both rooms were a delight in their own way. We stayed in the tower room. A quirky experience (which is exactly what we were looking for). One not for the faint-hearted, but extremely good fun. The period-style bathroom too, was wonderful. The food - excellent. As are the hosts, who vainly tried to find us somewhere to dine in the area. I would recommend booking some restaurants up in advance of your stay. A shortage of dining options, seems to be a constant problem in and around Barmouth."

"Exceptional!

Beautifully restored property which has a delightful balance of maintaining the original character and adding a quaint charm that really makes it stand out! The owners are genuinely lovely people who really want you to have the best stay. They make you feel warm and welcome from the second you arrive. The breakfast was outstanding and loved how they offered other things (off the menu) to suit my diet. Overall excellent location and venue with lovely hosts! Will be the only place I will stay when I return in the future."

"This is with out a doubt a hidden gem.

We arrived to find the Victoria gothic style house lovely decorated in a sympathy decor very much like " Return to the Chateau" and the owners that run this fantastic place are so kind and make you feel that you are in your own home. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the bedding smelt lovely and fresh. We had the breakfast included in our room and we were not disappointed as there is such a choice and we both felt full before we went out for the day. We were given keys to the room and front door and told we could come back as late as we liked fantastic."

"A well earned 5*s

Beautiful room, spotlessly clean, quirky with spectacular views of Barmouth. Everything about this B&B makes it an unusual little gem ❤️ An amazing breakfast cooked and served by owners Henri and Pav. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts. Cannot wait for our next stay."
